R – Realistic
T – Timely
However, any time we can get Specific & Measurable, the rest seems to fall in place. (I guess as trainers we throw our 2 cents in there on Realistic)
What are your top 3 Health Goals for 2022?
– For each list “What” you want to accomplish (with as many Specifics & Measurables as possible)
– Bad example, I want to lose weight
– Good example, I want to lose 15 pounds
– Great example, I want to lose 15 pounds by March 1st
– Best example, I want to lose 15 pounds by March 1st 2022 and keep it off through December 31st.
For another goal
– Good example – I want to complete one 5K per month
– Best example – Every month I want to complete, 5Ks each time faster than the previous.
