It was one situp

ME: (sobbing my heart out, eyes swollen, nose red) I, I can’t see you anymore…I am not going to let you hurt me like this again!
Trainer: It. Was. ONE. Situp. You did one sit up.

When you first start training with us, you are really saying, I want to be better.

We want to know what does better mean to you. What goal(s) do you want to accomplish?

Excellent, and we start. (It is always fun and exciting to start something new.)

Then, this happens (cue the dreadful tone).

The new and shiny wears off, though the consistency of pushing towards your goal continues.

The worthy goal now seems to be too far away. Ugh. ( And for many, at this point is where the white flag is mentally hoisted up.)
