Here We Grow Again!
Many, many, many years ago Reformed Fitness was born out of love for health & wellness (and to keep Doreen from killing herself teaching up to seven Zumba classes a day).
Do. Life. Better.
Doreen started group and personal training and then began reducing her Zumba footprint. Her body thanked her as Reformed Fitness classes and clients grew.
Life is Group Effort.
Success takes hard work and good people. Starting out Reformed Fitness was graced by Jay Vasquez at New Energy Fitness and Chris Gilbert at C1 Fit. These folks literally took Reformed Fitness under their wing and nurtured the fledgling new business.
The Adventures of Growth.
Who likes a game of Hot & Cold Hide-n-Seek? We did! Years passed, attempts were made to find where we could grow. Branched out the first time, not just cold, Ice cold. Attempted again. Not ice, still cold enough though. We just kept playing hide-n-seek, grow your business game, hoping we would get warmer.
Getting warmer.
For whatever reason on that mystical day in Dec 2019, Jeff Mason at Premiere Training took a gamble on Reformed Fitness. Maybe it was because he sensed we were looking for a home. Maybe it was because he heard we were hard working. Probably a solid combination of both. Either way, he welcomed us on board.
Norm!
We are always learning from Jeff. Jeff has been an independent trainer for over 10 years and he has seen it all. He creates in Premiere Training a warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere he created for ALL clients, his and all the personal trainers. Remember the TV show, Cheers, where everyone knows your name. At Premiere we celebrate every time someone walks through the doors. Norm! (And yes we know everyone’s name.)
One Door Shuts, Another Door Opens.
At the end of March, we found out that a lease could not be negotiated at the current location. Jeff, with much preponderance, decided to relocate to Lebanon and invited us with open arms. An awesome offer, to say the least. However, and with Jeff’s blessing, we thought we would open a new door, Studio Strong in the O’Fallon/Shiloh area.
At the Corner of Happy and Healthy.
Our adventure in finding a gym location plopped us down right next to Walgreens on Highway 50 in O’Fallon. You know down the road from Sonic, up from Casa Azteca, sorta across from the fire station? Yea, right near there.
Memorial Day.
We are shooting for the opening of Studio Stong on June 1st. We now have 7 weeks to get the gym open and functioning. Game on!
Weekly Updates.
As we continue our adventure, we would like to keep you updated. Just let us know if you want to opt out.
That is start of a new chapter and we are excited for you to share our adventure.
Your Trainers,
Doreen & Dave
PS – What a man.
Did we mention what a great guy Jeff Mason is? He is awesome. When we told him we were maintaining a presence in O’Fallon, he supported us 100% and has been helping us to get it set up. We will continue our partnership with him. Don’t be surprised to see him at Studio Strong training clients.
